4700GENSE Why do s water keep coming out into drip try on each use? Is this normal?

I also do see a very small amount of water in the tray but nothing that bothers me. Not sure where it comes from because the system seems very sound.

Regarding your question, please rest assured that the water draining into the drip tray during and after each use is a normal and expected part of the machine’s operation. After every brewing cycle, the machine automatically releases pressure from the internal system, and this process involves discharging a small amount of water into the drip tray. This is a built-in safety and maintenance feature that helps ensure the longevity of the machine and consistent brewing performance. We completely understand how this may seem unusual at first, especially if you're new to using an espresso machine, but we’d like to assure you that this is standard functionality. Regularly emptying and cleaning the drip tray will help keep your machine running smoothly. Can a 2 ear 58mm bottomless portafilter work for this machine or does it have to be a 3 ear?

However, we would like to inform you that our official store currently only offers the 3-ear 58mm bottomless portafilter, which is available through the CASABREWS Official Store on Amazon. If you prefer to purchase a 2-ear 58mm bottomless portafilter, please ensure that the size is 58mm for proper compatibility with your machine. Hi! My new 4700GENSE is great just unboxed it, but sadly for some reason it only came with one filter, the single shot :( we've looked everywhere but its missing. We can only use the oneShot

Hi Yes you can use the one shot basket. The amount of coffee you are going to use is less and the amount of brews espresso will be around 1-1.5 oz. I would reach out to casabrews to get a replacement double shot basket.

It may sometimes be placed within the portafilter or another compartment within the package. If you are unable to locate it, please don’t worry.
